24 hours at the eastern edge

Every August, the
Eastern Edge Gallery in
St. John's, Newfoundland organizes the 24-hour art marathon, an orgy of
play during which artists
create works to be auctioned,
off to benefit the gallery.

In 2009 I participated in the marathon, photographing the artists, their creations, and other activities, and creating a book that documented the event.

The small photos in the bottom outside corner of each page show the changing light outside the Gallery over the 24 hours.
